Healthy Tuck EnterpriseThe course consists of 4 visits to a class over a period of 4/5 weeks and covers the following topics - - Healthy eating & why it's important. Running a business - different departments, skills match, applying for jobs, body language, time management.
- Interviews. SWOT Analysis, open/closed questions. Raising finance. "Selling the Sizzle" advertising techniques.
- Food Safety & Hygiene - the 4 C's, hand washing (with special machine & glitter bug lotion), reading food labels.
- Children enhance their financial understanding by discussing cost, selling and profit figures and producing income & expenditure accounts.
The course develops enterprise skills like planning, organising, decision making and cause/effect. Classes are encouraged to offer opinions, discuss and problem solve.
