Healthy Tuck Enterprise

The course consists of 4 visits to a class over a period of 4/5 weeks and covers the following topics -

• Healthy eating & why it's important. Running a business - different departments, skills match, applying for jobs, body language, time management.
• Interviews.  SWOT Analysis, open/closed questions.  Raising finance. "Selling the Sizzle" advertising techniques.
• Food Safety & Hygiene - the 4 C's, hand washing (with special machine & glitter bug lotion), reading food labels.
• Children enhance their financial understanding by discussing cost, selling and profit figures and producing income & expenditure accounts.

The course develops enterprise skills like planning, organising, decision making and cause/effect.  Classes are encouraged to offer opinions, discuss and problem solve.

The sessions are interactive, interesting and fun and increase their enterprise knowledge in an engaging manner with a tangible goal.
